This set of images represents what I aspire to: a landscape with a sense of depth which is emphasised by leading lines, e.g. a track, a wall, a line of trees. My preference is for b & w, not only to avoid the postcard effect, but also for the way in which mono can bring some drama to the features of a landscape such as the contours of hills.
